Terminator: Dark Fate was one wild ride! The film was directed by Tim Miller and produced by James Cameron. It’s the 6th Terminator movie, but this is a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
Bringing back Linda Hamilton to play Sara Connor was the best decision they have done it’s as if she was the missing piece that was needed for the franchise. Gabriel Luna as the Terminator was incredibly badass, and the same goes for Mackenzie Davis as Grace. Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as the T-800, and he was my favorite part of this film. Natalia Reyes took me a while to get used to, but she did a great job as well.
I don’t have a lot of negatives for this movie to be honest, but I can think of two things. The first thing that bothered me about the movie was the CGI. There were moments in the movie where the CGI looked pretty rough, and it stood out to me like a sore thumb. The second thing is that there was the delivery for some lines was cringey. That’s about it for my negatives for the movie, now to talk about the many positives.
As a Terminator fan, I can say that this movie rejuvenated the franchise. I loved the story direction they decided to go with, and it was a breath of fresh air. This is the best Terminator film since Terminator 2: Judgement Day. The Terminator is back!
