My Top 3 Marvel Comics of The Week #4

Black Panther #18 was a good issue. This issue was mostly about T’Challa talking to Ororo about what he went through while being a slave to the empire, and how it changed him. I’m really enjoying the direction Ta-Nehisi Coates is going with T’Challa. The next issue is definitely going to be some serious business.

Valkyrie: Jane Foster #5 was great! The story is about Jane getting back Doctor Strange’s soul from Grim Reaper. This issue had both good action and storytelling. Also, there’s a part in the comic where I cracked up, because of how funny it was (no spoilers but it’s about apples). Valkyrie: Jane Foster never disappoints, especially when you got Jason Aaron and Al Ewing writing it. Also, Cafu is such a damn good artist.

Venom #20 was my favorite comic of the week. This issue takes place after the events of Absolute Carnage, and it was a great epilogue. Venom #20 was heartfelt, insightful, and really exciting. Donny Cates is a mad man because what he’s setting up for the future got me so amped.
