Superman: Birthright is written by Mark Waid, and it’s a retelling of Superman’s origins. I remember reading this series as a kid and was incredibly fascinated by it. The best way to describe this story is a mixture of Richard Donner’s Superman and the television series Smallville. Superman: Birthright is a great story, and it’ll be awesome if WB decides to make a trilogy out of it.
