2019 is coming to an end and Marvel released many great stories. Here are my top 5 Marvel comics of 2019!

5) Daredevil

Chip Zdarky’s Daredevil series is incredible. Zdarsky’s Daredevil is bringing back characters to their roots, such as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. The story of corruption, guilt, what’s right and wrong, and finding who you are is extremely well written. Also, the art in this comic is amazing.! This is the best Daredevil series in a long time.

4) Spider-man: Life Story

Chip Zdarky’s Spider-Man: Life Story is one of the best Spider-Man stories I’ve ever read. This comic is about Peter Parker’s life as Spider-Man from 1962 to 2019. The story is incredibly well done and has really deep heartfelt moments. If you’re a Spider-Man fan, please give this a read, you won’t regret it.

3) Immortal Hulk

Immortal Hulk by Al Ewing is a gem. Immortal Hulk feels like one big twisted horror story, and I love it. Also, the art and storytelling give off a classic vibe to it. The dynamic between Bruce and Devil Hulk is interesting. I want to know the true purpose of the Devil Hulk because this story is setting up something great! If you want to read a story about the Hulk and don’t know where to start, Immortal Hulk is what I’ll recommend 100%.

2) SIlver Surfer: Black

Donny Cates’ Silver Surfer: Black is DAMN good. This is the story about Norrin Radd trying to not lose himself to the darkness. The conflict that Norrin deals with was incredibly well written by Cates. Also, the art by Tradd Moore is gorgeous. This is one of Dony Cate’s best stories he’s written.

1) King Thor

King Thor by Jason Aaron is my favorite comic of the year! The story between Thor and Loki, the return of Gorr, great sacrifices, and more was top tier storytelling. The action was amazing, and the art was beautiful. Jason Aaron went out with a bang and gave us the perfect story of 2019.
