While on The Star Wars Show, Bob Iger said that we could see the Star Wars Disney+ shows become films one day!
Here’s a quote from the interview:
I love the ability to really be agnostic in terms of what platform it’s being made for. And so it could be, down the road, that a TV show becomes a movie and a movie becomes a TV series. I’m not making any announcements here or not, but I think it’s important for us to be agnostic.
I think this is a great idea. With the way Marvel utilizes their shows, Lucasfilm could do the same. If The Mandalorian series becomes a movie one day, I would be incredibly excited. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Star Wars franchise!
