According to THR, Taikia Waititi was approached to do a Star Wars film!
This is a no brainer. After the high praise he’s gotten from episode 8 of The Mandalorian, I just knew that someone at Disney would want him to direct a film. I’m down for Waititi to do a Star Wars film because everything he’s done so far has been fantastic such as Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Thor: Ragnarok, and Jojo Rabbit.
I wonder what kind of Star Wars film could he possibly do. Could it be a one and done story or something that’ll be apart of the new trilogy like the rumored High Republic Era? Well, whatever it is, I’m excited!
