Thanks to the C-Virus, Wonder Woman 1984 will be released on August 14, 2020.
From Variety, here is what Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman, Toby Emmerich, had to say:
When we greenlit ‘Wonder Woman 1984, it was with every intention to be viewed on the big screen and are excited to announce that Warner Bros. Pictures will be bringing the film to theatres on Aug. 14. We hope the world will be in a safer and healthier place by then.
I think this is a good decision. Hopefully, by that time, this pandemic will be taken care of. But, I won’t be surprised if the film goes straight to digital.
