Sam Raimi Officially Confirms That He’s Directing ‘Doctor Strange 2’!

Sam Raimi, the man involved with the first 3 Spider-Man films of the 2000s, has officially confirmed that he will be directing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness!

While talking with ComingSoon, here is what Raimi said:

I loved Doctor Strange as a kid, but he was always after Spider-Man and Batman for me, he was probably at number five for me of great comic book characters. He was so original, but when we had that moment in Spider-Man 2 I had no idea that we would ever be making a Doctor Strange movie, so it was really funny to me that coincidentally that line was in the movie. I gotta say I wish we had the foresight to know that I was going to be involved in the project.”

It’s going to be exciting to see what Raimi is going to do with Doctor Strange. Who knows, maybe this will be a precursor to a live-action Spider-Verse movie! It’s great to see one of the godfathers of comic book films working on another comic book movie. I have HIGH expectations for this film.
