The Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, would love to play Superman for years!
Here is what Cavill said during his interview with Variety:
When you meet children, children don’t necessarily see me as Henry Cavill, but they might see Superman, and there’s a responsibility which comes with that. Because it’s such a wonderful character, it’s actually a responsibility I’m happy to have, and I hope that I get to play more of Superman in years to come.
I hope WB makes Cavill Superman again. He loves the character, and he still has a lot of gas in the tank. Cavill could be in The Flash, Shazam 2, and many other DC films, but the one I would love to see most is a Man of Steel sequel. There are so many stories that you can still do with Superman, and I know Cavill will give it his all.
