Saladin Ahmed’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a fantastic series that both older and newer fans of Miles will enjoy.
Miles is a bit older and more mature, which means more intense Spider-Man problems. Incorporating a journal where Miles writes in each issue is great because I enjoy reading how he feels about his life. Also, seeing Ultimate Green Goblin and Ultimatum (616 Miles who was trapped in the Ultimate universe) is awesome to see, and I enjoy how it’s being written so far. I hope that the series does somehow let Miles go to the Ultimate universe since it’s my favorite Marvel universe.
If you love Spider-Man or the character Miles Morales, then this series is for you. In my opinion, this is the best Spider-Man series currently being written at Marvel, so huge kudos to Ahmed.
