One of DC’s best shows, Stargirl, has been confirmed for another season! The sad news is it’ll be officially a CW show, and will be leaving the DC Universe streaming service.
Here’s some information about Stargirl from THR :
Season two will debut exclusively on The CW and stream the next day on the network’s free, ad-supported platform, further dwindling DC Universe’s roster of original shows. Stargirl will still have an SVOD home, on HBO Max, after the season wraps.
I’ve been enjoying Stargirl so far, and I’m excited for season 2. The problem I have that it will be officially a CW show and a DC Universe show. I hope things don’t change too much about the show for season 2, because CW’s formula isn’t the best formula for DC shows. Guess only time will tell.
