‘Doom Patrol’ Season 2 Spoiler-Free Review

Doom Patrol season 2 has come to an end, and it was fantastic! Let’s talk about the characters that shined the most this season.

The story introduces a new character named Dorothy, who has unique abilities and can bring out “Imaginary” friends. Seeing how sweet she can be, but dealing with her inner demons was written well. Chief and the rest of the Doom Patrol had their hands full dealing with her. I enjoyed her character, and I can’t wait to see season 3 after how the finale sets up something big.

Crazy Jane, who’s my favorite character in the series, got a lot of focus too. Jane was dealing with the different personalities within herself and trying to get down on why one of her personalities has gone missing. I enjoyed seeing more of the personalities in Jane get more screen time than they did in the first season. Curious to see how the story unfolds in the next season.

Cyborg in this season was my favorite, and I was invested in his relationship with the new character on the show, Roni Evers. I’m not a big Cyborg fan, but I got to say that this is my favorite writing of the character since the Teen Titans cartoon series. I wonder what’s going to be next for both Cyborg and Roni.

The season was only nine episodes because of the pandemic, but each episode was amazing. My favorite episodes in the season were Sex PatrolTyme Patrol, and Finger Patrol. I don’t know how they did it, but season 2 was another success, and I want more. If you’re not watching Doom Patrol, then I don’t know what you’re doing with your life. Season 3 has a lot of amazing setups, and I know they’ll knock it out of the park.

Score: 10/10
