U.S. Agent, one of my favorite Marvel characters, will be getting a series in November! The U.S.Agent will be five issues long. Also, it will be written by Christopher Priest and art by Stefano Landini. On a side note, his new costume design looks badass.
Here’s a summary from ComicBook on what U.S.Agent will be about :
John Walker, the former Super Patriot, has been stripped of his official USAgent status and is now operating as an independent government contractor protecting government covert interests. His latest protection detail draws him into a conflict between a small town and the corporate giant trying to destroy it. John acquires a new partner and new enemy along the way while being haunted by ghosts from his past and confronting challenges to his future.
The U.S.Agent already sounds great, so I’m definitely going to buy it day one. John Walker is a great character, and it makes me wonder where this series will take him. Maybe if the series does good and how much popularity he’ll get from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we could probably see more solo runs. It seems like it’s going to be a good year for the U.S. Agent.
