Eternals director, Chloé Zhao, talks about her experience directing the film.
From Collider, here is what Chloé Zhao had to say:
I shot exactly the way I wanted to shoot. On location. A lot of magic hour. Three-hundred-sixty degrees on the same camera as I did on Nomadland. Same rigs. It’s a bit surreal. I’m still waiting for the shoe to drop. It hasn’t. I think I got lucky in that Marvel wants to take risks and do something different.
I love that Marvel is giving directors the freedom they need to add their touch to the films. It’s also one of the big reasons why the MCU has been a success for so many years. Eternals is my most anticipated comic film, and it so sounds like the process has been going well.
