The new big bad, Kang the Conquer, will be making his debut in the third Ant-Man film! Kang will be played by Johnathan Majors, the star from a fantastic series called Lovecraft Country.

Majors has been tapped for one of the lead roles in the next Ant-Man movie opposite Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily. The studio had no comment, but sources close to the project say he is likely to play the super-villain Kang the Conqueror.
Sources add that like with so many new characters in the MCU, there could be a twist with how the character is featured in future films, but as of now he is likely to be one of the main villains in the next installment in the franchise.
The news caught everyone by surprise because no one expected that Kang would make an appearance in Ant-Man 3. Seeing how the Quantum Realm is used for time travel and going to different dimensions of the multiverse, this makes a lot of sense. With Kang involved, it could mean that we’ll possibly see the Fantastic Four or even the Young Avengers. I wasn’t excited for Ant-Man 3 before, but I am now.
