Top 5 Games of 2020!

2020 has been a good year for gaming! There has been so many fantastic games that released this year and since the year is about to end, I think is time for me to give my list on my top 5 games in 2020.

#5 Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077, the most controversial game in 2020, but after playing it and putting in over 60 hours, it’s definitely one of my favorites. The design of the world is breathtaking, and the story was well written. I really enjoyed the gameplay, and even after doing so many missions, I wasn’t bored, and I’m currently replaying the game. I can’t speak for others when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, but in my experience, it’s a fantastic game, and whenever CD Projekt Red patches up the game, I hope people will experience the same joy I have.

#4 Persona 5 Royal

Persona 5 was released in 2016 and it was a fantastic game, but Atlus decided to release an updated version of the game called Persona 5 RoyalPersona 5 Royal has so much content, great dialogue, and amazing characters. I put in over 200 hours into the game because there’s so much content. Persona 5 Royal is a fantastic RPG game, and I highly recommend playing it.

#3 Spider-man: Miles Morales

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is currently my favorite superhero game of all time. Insomniac Games has done an amazing job creating a story for Miles Morales. The gameplay was incredible, especially the web swinging. Insomniac games shows that they really loves the games they make, and I’m ready for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

#2 Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Final Fantasy Remake is fantastic! The game has created a modern-day formula when it comes to playing Final Fantasy, and I believe Square Enix should continue to build off it for the future in the FF franchise. The story was mind-blowing and incredible voice acting. There were so many moments where my heart raced or even almost made me cry. What I also enjoy is that this is not a complete retelling of the original game, which kept it fresh and surprising. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is not only in my top 5 in games for 2020, but also one of my favorite Final Fantasy games I’ve ever played, and I’ve been playing the franchise since the 90s.

#1 ghost of tsushima

Sucker Punch hasn’t released a game since Infamous Second Son, which was released back in 2014, but then they decided to release one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. The landscapes, the action, storytelling, music, and so much more. What’s crazy is that this is a better Assassin’s Creed game than Assassin’s Creed! Sucker Punch has created such a perfect game, and I’m ready for a sequel.

Honorable mentions:

  • Last of Us Part 2
  • Doom Eternal
  • Tonk Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2
  • Half-Life: Alyx
  • Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time
