If you were worried about the next Deadpool film was going to be PG-13, well I got some good news for you! Kevin Feige has confirmed that Deadpool 3 will be rated R and it will be an MCU film!
Here’s what Feige said on Collider:
It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.
I’m excited for Deadpool 3 being an MCU film more than ever! We’re probably not going to see Deadpool 3 until late 2022 or 2023. What we probably do know that Doctor Strange 2 will definitely play a role for Deadpool to join the party.
