Finally, after years of EA holding the rights, Ubisoft has announced that they will be making a brand new Star Wars game. The one involved with the making of the game is Massive Entertainment, which is the team behind The Division. What we know so far about the game is that it will be open-world and story-driven. We don’t know when the story takes place or what characters are involved with the story.

I’m actually mixed about the announcement. The good thing is that we finally got another company that can give us a Star Wars video game, but the bad thing is that Ubisoft’s track record isn’t great. Also, I don’t even enjoy The Division games, so this is going to be hard to be happy about until I see actual real gameplay and not those fake CGI trailer demos Ubisoft loves to use. Regardless of how I feel, I’m looking forward to new info about the game.
