Avengers: Endgame ended in 2019, and we still get new information regarding the film. In a recent interview, Paul Bettany revealed that Endgame was originally supposed to have a post-credit scene that was supposed to set up WandaVision!
Here’s is what Bettany said to IMDb:
At one point there was going to be a tag where you (Scarlet Witch) opened a body bag drawer and there was the Vision. Kevin kind of talked to me and said “I got to pull the shots”.
Now, this was surprising to learn about. I would have never thought we were going to get the Vision scene at the end of Endgame, especially since the film has no post-credit scene, to begin with. In my opinion, Kevin Feige did a good move pulling the scene only because the film was mostly a goodbye film and didn’t need a shock factor in the end. With this new information, I feel like they’ll use the cut scene in WandaVision explaining what happened to Visions body.
