Daedalic Entertainment’s The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which was announced back in 2019, has been delayed. The game was supposed to come out this year, but now it will release in 2022. The game is about the Gollum when he first discovered the One Ring and to the start of The Fellowship of the Ring. You’ll decide if Gollum become vicious or become nice as Smeagol.
Here’s the official post of the delay:
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was a game I wasn’t interested at first, but it slowly grew on me. A delay for the game is a good idea, and after what we saw from Cyberpunk 2077, I won’t be surprised if a lot of studios delay their games to avoid the same backlash aka just release the game when it’s ready. I’ll be looking forward to more info regarding the new game.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be playable on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S!
