Salma Hayek said in a recent interview that Eternals is definitely made different than the rest of the MCU films.
Here’s what Hayek said in a interview with Variety:
It has a completely different DNA from the [other Marvel movies]. It’s shot different than all the other ones. It’s in real locations and they found some crazy extraterrestrial-looking locations. I don’t know if I’m allowed to talk about what they do with the camera, but…it’s not mostly done in post. The cinematography is incredible.
Salma Hayek definitely got me curious about how the film is shot. Isn’t it incredible that Marvel has been making these MCU films in 2008, and still find new ways to shoot a film? I love it. I’m still waiting on a trailer because as an Eternal fan, I need some crumbs!
