The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is right around the corner and Kevin Feige is doing some press rounds. In a recent interview, Kevin Feige has shot down the rumors of Chris Evans returning as Captain America.
Here’s is what Feige said in his recent interview with EW:
I rarely answer no to anything anymore because things are always surprising me with what happens, but that rumor, I think, was dispelled rather quickly by the man himself.
Feige likes to be vague or say “never say never”, but this is one of the few times that he really said “no”. Not too long ago, Deadline has said that Evans was returning as Cap, so it got everyone’s hopes up, so I guess we got hoodwinked. If Evans do decide to return, it will be for a project in the far future, but as of right now, we do not need him because his story is done.
