Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ Spoiler-Free Review!

Well, the Snyder Cut has finally been released, and it was great! After fans have been asking for Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League since 2017, Warner Brothers finally gave in and released it, and I’m happy the fans made it happen because it was worth it.

The story in the Snyder Cut is so much better than what we got in 2017. We got fleshed out stories for the characters, how we get from point A to point B, and how scenes just connect that made you go “Why in the hell did they cut that out?!” and more. I was really surprised by how entertained I was with the story because four hours flew by for me. Also, the action awesome! All the fight scenes were intense and got me pumped.

I won’t say the story is perfect though. In the film, there were times where I was like “ok, not that was a waste of time,” or “why was that decision made?” but nothing that made me mad. Overall, it was still good, but I know there was stuff I wished Snyder did better.

The cast was great too! Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher shined so much more in this film, and that makes me happy. Also, Ben Affleck played a better Batman, Gal Gadot was great as Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa was a badass Aquaman. Henry Cavill’s Superman was good too because it made sense in this film, I still like the 2017 version’s Superman more, but for story purposes Cavill was ruthless.

Another thing that was better in this film was the CGI! Everything just looked better in this film such as Cyborg, Steppenwolf, the orange sky is gone, etc. There were a few times where the CGI was off, but it wasn’t as bad as we saw from the 2017 film. Also, some music choices didn’t work in the film for me that I liked better in the other film, but that’s just my opinion.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is something you need to see, especially if you were disappointed with the 2017 film. I did not expect to like the film as much as I did and I’m happy to enjoy it. In my opinion, this is Zack Snyder’s best DC film he has done and I want to see him finish his story. The film left a lot of things open for a possible sequel and I think Warner Brothers would be dropping the ball if they didn’t continue, even if it’s not canon.

Good job Mr. Snyder because this is something for the history books that’s for sure.
