The upcoming Marvel Studios series coming to Disney+, Ms. Marvel, has finally wrapped up production!
From Variety, here’s what their article said:
Production has wrapped on “Ms. Marvel,” a Disney-Marvel series with a Muslim teen lead character and a significant Asian cast. Filming was relocated to Thailand after a stint in Georgia, U.S.
The six-part series features newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, a New Jersey-raised teenager who discovers that she has special powers. The character arc has her finding out who she is and learning about relationships.
Bisha K. Ali is set as co-writer and showrunner, with four directors including Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Adil El Arbi, Billal Fallah and Meera Menon.
The completed series is set to premiere on the Disney Plus streaming service, but Disney has not confirmed a release date firmer than late 2021.
Ms. Marvel is going to be great. I can’t wait to see how this will tie-in with The Marvels, and how this could probably bring back the Inhuman Royal Family. Also, I’m excited to see how Kamala Khan uses her power in the show! The series is coming out this year, so we’re most likely getting a trailer this summer or early fall.
