‘Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time’ Coming To Amazon Prime Video!

You read the title correctly! Hideaki Anno’s Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, the final Evangelion film in the Rebuild series, will be coming to Amazon Prime Video on August 13.

Here’s the announcement from the official Twitter for Evangelion:

That’s not all! Amazon Prime Video will also have EVANGELION:1.11 YOU ARE (NOT) ALONE., EVANGELION:2.22 YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE., EVANGELION:3.33 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO! Now that’s the cherry on top for sure.

Here’s what Hideaki Anno said about the announcement:

I’d like to thank every Eva fan in the world for your continued support. We were looking for the best way to offer the movie to fans overseas as early as possible in a challenging situation with movie theatres during COVID-19, and are happy to have found Prime Video as a partner to stream it globally. We highly recommend watching it on a big TV screen for the best viewing experience.

Nothing else today will make me more happy than this announcement. I hope that there will be physical copies for the final film because I need it, same goes with the first film because it’s literally non-existent. I love this franchise, and i can’t wait to cry when I watch it.

Here’s a tweet from my personal twitter:
