‘Loki’ Finale Sets Up Secret Wars!

Man oh man, how about that Loki finale?! Definitely one of Marvel Studios‘ best, but I’m not here to talk about how good the show is, I’m here to talk about my theory on how this will lead to the next Multiversal War aka Secret Wars.

Literally at the start of Loki, it was shown how the TVA was made to make sure to stop branches that goes beyond the Sacred Timeline because it could lead to another Multiversal War. Immortus, aka He Who Remains, explained that he was the one to come out on top and ended that war, which created one timeline. Now with Immortus dead thanks to Sylvie, the multiverse is completely out of control, and with the other Kang variants running around or coming to exist, the big Multiversal War is inevitable.

We’re going to see the effects of other universes, crossovers, and major changes in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Marvel’s What If…?. Also, you have to take into account that we’re going to Kang the Conqueror or the birth of that character in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as well. Then you have Loki season two, which I’m sure will be way more mind-blowing than the first season.

With all these universes and timelines clashing, the Kangs will use this as leverage to tell their represented universes that the only way to continue to live is to defeat the others in battle. We’re told many times, especially in the finale like “yes, this is where we’re officially heading.” We’ll probably see inspiration pulled from Secret Wars (2015) and incorporate Battleworld into the MCU around like phase 5 or 6 because by then all the key components are placed.

Marvel Studios is letting us follow the breadcrumb trails because it’s obvious at this point. And, as a fan of timelines and multiverses clashing or messing up, my body is ready for the event. Plus, we already know how this will end, all the universes get to live because of freewill, but I’m trying to have my mind melted seeing so many characters on screen.
