‘What If…?’ Could Bring Killmonger Back!

If you enjoyed the post, follow here:

Oh man, with Marvel StudiosWhat If…? officially released, the possibilities are endless! And one of those endless possibilities I want to talk about is how Killmonger might be able to return to live-action. I know you’re thinking “How is that possible? He’s already dead and it’s just a cartoon!” Well guess what? It can happen.

Black Panther featured Erik Killmonger, played by Michael B. Jordan, and if you’ve seen the movie, then you know he died in the end. Now, look at What If…?, not only is he alive in other parts of the multiverse, but he’s a good guy! And with him being alive and good, he could return in a future Black Panther related project in the future, especially with the multiverse out of wack because of the aftermath of Loki.

Another thing to mention is that the producer, Brad Winderbaum, said some of the What If…? characters could make their way into the main timeline. I would assume the characters we would see in the main timeline are Captain Carter, Killmonger, and many other characters we have yet seen. The show will definitely play a bigger role when it comes to seeing characters crossing over to films or shows.

Lastly, Michael B. Jordan has expressed interest playing Killmonger again. And, it’ll be interesting to see how much of a different dynamic it would be playing a hero than a villain when it comes to being face to face with the people Wakanda, especially with all the wrongs that has happened before. All we can do is wait and see because Jordan is a busy man doing huge things like Static Shock, the possible Superman series, etc.

This is all just a theory, but it’s one that can for sure happen.

While you’re here, Check this theory out!
