Oh boy, Funimation is coming to this year’s NYCC with full force! This year Funimation has announced an anime sanctuary called “Funimation: Sakura Park,” which is an experience that will be an Japanese-inspired anime fantasy. Guests are welcomed to enjoy a branded food trucks, find hidden easter eggs, awesome photo opps, and more! Also, they’ll have some badass panels and special guests as well.

Here’s what Gita Rebbapragada, Chief Marketing Officer of Funimation Global Group, had to said say about the event:

Funimation is excited to return to New York Comic Con in what has been a monumental year for anime and for the fan community. NYCC attendees and fans will truly feel welcomed and embraced into the world of anime with the activations and brand presence we have planned.

The event is free on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited capacity and attendees must RSVP, be 21+ years of age, and must show their NYCC badge, proof of Funimation subscription and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
