Yes, you read the title correctly! We finally got the official release date for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which is October 10th!
What to expect from season two? Well, we’re getting the Mugen Train Arc first, and I know what you’re going to say “Why do I have to watch the Mugen Train Arc when I can watch the move?” It’s because we’ll be getting new scenes, music, an original episode of Kyojuro Rengoku, and more! Oh, and the queen herself, LiSA, is returning to do the intro and outro for the series, which are titled Akeboshi (opening) and Shirogane (ending).
After the Mugen Train arc, which is seven episodes long, then we’ll jump right into the Entertainment District Arc staring December 5th. Once this new arc begins, we’ll be treated with an hour-long episode. Plus, new intro and outro as well from from Aimer! The intro is titled Zankyosanka and the outro is titled Asa ga kuru.
You can take a look at the preview of Entertainment District Arc here:
I’m excited for the new season for Demon Slayer! I hope the anime version of the Mugen Train Arc is worth it, but I’m down for things being fleshed out. I’m really looking forward to the Entertainment District Arc, especially since it’s one of the best arcs in the manga by far. Demon Slayer fans are eating swell.
