One Piece fans, the wait is almost over! On November 20th, the 1000th episode for the series will premiere on Funimation. Also, Toei Animation and Funimation be co-hosting a live-stream fan celebration for the episode as well. The virtual event will will feature free streaming of episodes 998 and 999, prize giveaways, fan videos, and more, so don’t miss out!

That’s not all the goodies! Toei Animation and Fathom Events announced a special two-night showing at theaters for One Piece Film: Strong World, both dubbed (November 7th) and subbed (November 9th). This will be the first time the film has ever released theatrically in the U.S.! The film was released back in 2009, written by Eiichiro Oda, and is the 10th movie in the One Piece franchise.
