I finally got the chance to finish part 2 of Masters of the Universe: Revelation on Netflix, and just like the part 1, it’s amazing! I just had so much fun with part 2 and was losing it from the sheer awesomeness. Masters of the Universe: Revelation just checks off all the boxes for me.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation part 2 takes place exactly where the first part left off. After Skeletor got the Sword of Power, the fate of Eternia is bleak. It’s up to Prince Adam, Teela, and the rest of the Guardians of Grayskull to stop Skeletor and restore Eternia. It’s the epic conclusion for Revelation, and things are about to get crazy.

Part 2 of Revelation is easily my favorite. I did not know where the story was going to go at all because each episode kept catching me by surprise. Also, the character developments in these five episodes was so good, especially for Evil-Lyn. The overall writing was so strong and I really appreciated the the puns and corny one-liners.

This is the only slight spoiler that I need to talk about because I was losing it. Episode 3 of Revelation part 2 was my favorite. Evil-Lyn basically telling Skeletor he’s only horny for He-Man, Skeletor turning down his power to get his freak on, and the innuendos was perfect. I was cracking up so much.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation part 2 is just genius storytelling, and like I’ve said in my part 1 review, it’s a love letter to the fans of the original series.

The animation were great in these five episodes! There’s a scene where the show went completely anime when He-Man joins the battlefield and it was phenomenal. You’ll also get amazing and beautiful visuals as well, which made me went “damn, this is where ya’ll saved the budget?!” Powerhouse Animation Studios just continues to amaze me.

Just like the first part, the score was great in part 2! My favorite score was in the final episode of the series, it was just beautiful. Same goes for episode four because things get intense.

I do feel like they stepped it up big time in part 2. Don’t get me wrong, part 1 of Revelation both visually and sounded good, but this was in a different level. Who knows what the sequel series is going to do!

I loved the cast! Just like before, Chris Wood as Price Adam and Mark Hamill as Skeletor was just great! One thing I did notice with Hamill’s performance is that he went full Hamill as Skeletor, and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

The highlights for sure Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela and Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn. Gellar as Teela killed it! Since Teela had huge moments in part 2, Gellar went above and beyond with her performance. The same goes with Headey as Evil-Lyn because hot damn was she good! Evil-Lyn was easily my favorite in the series and Headey knocked it out the park.

The whole voice cast did a hell of a job in the series for sure!

Masters of the Universe: Revelation part 2 just did everything right in my eyes. I enjoyed the second part so much and was smiling each episode. As a fan of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, this was a satisfying conclusion, but I need more after watching that wild finale.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation is one incredible series. Easily one of my favorite series in 2021. Both old fans and newcomers should watch this show.
