‘Morbius’ Delayed Until April Fool’s Day

Yup, you read the title and it’s not a joke. Sony’s Morbius has been delayed again until April 1st, aka April Fool’s day. Sony actually had a good reason for the delay, and it’s because of that damn COVID variant.

Here’s what THR wrote:


The Sony and Marvel film had already been delayed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In January, Sony announced that the film would move from October 2021 to early 2022.

Seeing how COVID is smacking the world, it’s a good call. I’m still looking forward to watching Morbius. Sony releasing the film on April 1st is still funny to me that’s for sure.
