You know I had to talk about this because oh man I lost it! Game Freak released an announcement trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, which is the ninth generation Pokémon game!

I was not expecting a Gen 9 announcement so soon, especially when Pokémon Legends: Arceus just released. From what we got from the trailer, the game looks great, and I love the new starters. Two big Pokémon games in the same year? What a time to be alive.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet is set to release in late 2022 on the Nintendo Switch!
