‘Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier’ Is Killed Off Before Being A Year Old!

Now this is surprising news. Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, the mobile game from Square Enix, is officially going to end its service on January 11, 2023.

Here’s the official announcement below:

We are regretful to announce that we will be ending service for FINAL FANTASY VII THE FIRST SOLDIER at 07:00 UTC on January 11, 2023.

Damn, I feel bad for the fans who are playing it and investing their actual money for the game for it to kick the bucket in a few months. I believe if this game was put on to consoles it would have had a longer life span for sure because the gameplay looks fun, and a lot of FF fans would be on board. Oh well, it was interesting while it lasted.
