Can you believe that we’re only a month away from the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?! Well, in recent news regarding the film is Tenoch Huerta, the man who will play Namor, addresses the comparisons being made about Namor and Killmonger.
Here’s what Tenoch Huerta told Total Film:
“I hope so!” laughs Huerta, when TF asks if audiences might gravitate to Namor in the same way they did to Killmonger. “I never try to compare myself with other actors with my characters. But, of course, he made a great antagonist, and people loved him. I loved that character when I saw the first Black Panther movie. I hope that people engage in the same way with Namor.”
I’m looking forward on how Namor will be written in Wakanda Forever. I believe we’re in for a wild ride and we’ll say “You know what? Namor is right.” Inject this film in me please.
