Man, what an interesting series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was. The new Marvel Studios show did had some up and downs that’s for sure. Is it worth your time or is it what everyone has been saying, which is the worst thing in the MCU? Guess you’ll have to find out while reading the rest of the review.

Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a comedy series that follows Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) who’s an attorney that focuses on superhuman related legal cases. Jennifer must deal with being a single woman in her 30s, and oh yeah, being a 6 foot 7 Hulk! It’ll be a wild ride for Jennifer Walters as she tries to juggle her normal life while dealing with her brand newly found powers which she tries to do for good.

I thought the series was a fun watch, but I can’t ignore some of the show’s writing flaws. I loved the meta jokes throughout the series, and if we’re getting this with She-Hulk, then I can’t wait to see it in Deadpool 3. Also, I can say without a doubt, out of all the MCU series, I think the character of Jennifer Walters is probably the best and consistent written new character from the MCU series.

When comes to the flaws, without going deep into spoilers, but it’s the finale. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the huge meta joke in the episode but how it wrapped things up made me go “Wait, that’s it?” Jameela Jamil, who plays Titania really didn’t add anything for the overall plot. Hell, even the apparently big bad of the show was pretty much useless too. Again, some writing choices, even if it’s a comedy, it was just kind of disappointing on how things played out.

The story might not be perfect, but again, still had a lot of fun watching it! Plus, I already knew what I was getting myself into, so it’s not like I was expecting some super dramatic series.

I thought the cast of the show were all great. When it came to She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, everyone just nailed it, even those who just had cameos. Tatiana Maslany is just fantastic casting as Jen, loved Jameela Jamil as Titania, Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk in the series is the best, Benedict Wong as Wong is a treat, etc. If there’s anything I do find perfect about the show is the casting.

The visuals were a hit or miss in the show. There were times when transformations, fights, or even casual talking when it came to She-Hulk looked a bit off. It wasn’t the whole show of course because the Daredevil episode or the first & second episode she looked great. It was noticeable, but I have not big complaints.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘s score was pretty good. The use of the music in certain scenes or even in the credits were good. I got to give props to the team behind the music in the series because it worked every episode.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law might not be for everybody, but it is for me. I don’t need every MCU project to be super serious or world changing, plus I enjoyed how self contained the series was, sure there’s refences to the greater part of the MCU but that’s it. If you want to have a good time and just enjoy yourself, then She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a show for you. Yeah, it’s not as bad as what people online (the show makes fun of) say it is.

I recommend watching She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
