One thing fans have been wondering is how will Matt Reeves’ The Batman universe not clash with James Gunn and Peter Safran’s upcoming DCU? Well, it seems like they’re about to get to the bottom of it. Matt, James, and Peter will be meeting to make sure how both universes wouldn’t clash with eachother.
Here’s the confirmation from Collider reported:
During an exclusive interview with Collider’s Steven Weintraub for the 15th anniversary of Cloverfield, The Batman director Matt Reeves revealed he’ll soon have a meeting with new co-heads of DC Studios James Gunn and Peter Safran. However, as Reeves tells us, fans shouldn’t be afraid, as his BatVerse will keep being developed parallel with the new DC Universe.
The Batman is such an incredible movie, so it’s good to hear that they’re trying to make it work. I’m sure fans will be able to tell the difference between the two and not be confused with two Batmen. Now the question is, where does Todd Phillips’ Joker fit in all this? Maybe the sequel is the last film, but that’s an assumption. Well, can’t wait to see the BatVerse and the DCU thrive.
